Profile Design Wheels

Profile Design has been developing the Altair and Armada triathlon aero wheels for over two years and launches into the racing scene with 9 sets of aero wheels, four full carbon, two semi carbon with aluminum brake surface and three sets of full aluminum training wheels. There are two carbon rim depths; 52mm and 80mm and are available in the Full Carbon Clincher, Full Carbon Tubular and Semi Carbon Clinchers (aluminum brake surface). These new "Profile Designed" rims (pun intended) where developed using Computational Fluid Dynamic software and have been put through the paces in the lab and road. All wheels are hand built which is a detail that should not be taken lightly and is refreshing. Why? Skilled wheelbuilders are a unique bunch. They are naturally detail oriented and have very tight tolerances for each build. The carbon rims are created with a high temperature resin, Profile's proprietary carbon lay up, sealed cartridge bearings and bladed spokes with hidden nipples.
